“ We were looking for somewhere unique to eat, and the Po Folks really got our attention. Good home cooking, southern comfort food. We ordered the chopped steak, cabbage, baked apples, chicken dumplins, fried okra, and Mac and cheese. Food was all hot and fresh even though it was an hour before close. People were friendly & attentive. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in town that would enjoy some good southern cooking. ”

“ My husband and I went for an early valentine's dinner. The place was not crowded due to going between 2 and 5 pm. We were greeted very warmly by hostess and wait staff. They offered us the special for valentine's. While we didn't want the special, we opted for other menu items. My husband ordered the po chuck sandwich, which is a burger. It was cooked to order and was delicious! In fact, the burger was larger than the bun! I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens. and a bread stick. All cooked fresh to order! It was all hot and delicious and took a short amount of time. The staff checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We will definitely be returning again and again! ”
